car test #4

car specs
-tested with the top shell off
-nickel cadium batteries
-batterie charge 2.87
-2 wheel drive
- times
1st test-11.28
2nd test-11.26
3rd test-11.09
anylisis-taking the top off to decrease weight did not dramatically effect the times like I though. The times stayed about the same.

conclusions

my conclusions based on the data i have recorded so far.
-try to nmake your car as light as possible to increase speed, like taking the top off of your car and using the lightest batteries.
-the nickel metal hydride weighs a whole ten grams more than the nickel cadium
-grease barrings well or the tires will not spin right
-try to keep the spinners a little loose

Day Three

I composed are written test results into microsoft excel today. I had alot of trouble figuring out how to upload it into a blog so I just created a copy and paste box and simply copied and pasted.

 CAR SPEC's
We built are car exactly by the book and we had few personal variations. The only change we made is that we took out the gears that made the car 4 wheel drive. The first day we we're building we forgot to put all the barrings on so it made are times 2 seconds slower so we had to fix that are second day.

The lighter the car ther quicker it seems to go. I figured that out while testing the different batteries. The nickel metal hydride was a whole ten grams heavier than the nickel cadium. The car with the nickel cadium batteries trunced the nickel metal hydride by a whole 3 seconds!
